Legal Help
Post Body

I am planning on taking my old roommate to court. His cat ripped up the carpet and he agreed to fix it (I do have proof of him saying this) and he’s now saying he’s not fixing it anymore because we brought it up after we agreed if two weeks and he hasn’t paid my landlord $75 of his half of rent. He wasn’t on the lease but the landlord knew and was fine with it. Not sure if I can sue him for this, but also thinking of adding half of July’s electric bill because he lives there. The only reason I’d think I could is because I can prove that in May and June it was way less in those months. Any legal help I’d be grateful
