Hello, so I had an incident back in July of this year, where I was shopping at a king Soopers in Colorado Springs, a security officer approached me accusing me of things I didn't do, then assaulted me with a flashlight hitting me over the head multiple times and then proceeded to attain me resulting in more injury's.. I was able to get away, which resulted in police contact which resulted in me being detained until I emphasized the situation pleading for them to watch the security footage, which they did ultimately resulting in the incarceration of the security officer and he was charged with 2nd degree assault I believe.. I would have pursued filing this sooner but I was struggling with homelessness which I believe initiated what the security officer did anyway, which is another problem as well as clearly isn't right of him to do either.. I need direction and I hope too much time has passed to file a claim
