Post Body

Husband and wife taken a joint property where the husband paid the half of down payment amount and later wife was forced to pay all the EMIs and everything for the property. Now the separation of husband wife has started. Husband is claiming 50% of the property even when no/once payments towards the house was made. The property is in Bangalore.

Can someone advise how to tackle this issue in order to pay lesser and also the case doesn't run forever?

Comments

To tackle the property dispute, consult a family lawyer to understand your rights, gather evidence of all payments made, and consider negotiating a settlement. Explore mediation for a quicker resolution, and if needed, file for a court partition to legally divide the property based on contributions. Work with your lawyer to expedite the process.
