Hello law students and lawyers of Reddit! So as the header says how come the president can appoint the chief justice and ombudsman? I just think it defeats the purpose of having 3 different branches of gov. If the pres. can appoint whom he/she wants to be the head of the supreme court. Para san pa ang separations of power at check and balance?
Same goes with the ombudsman.
Iād like to know your thoughts about this and kung dapat ba ito mabago? And kung oo, pano ito mababago?
Iām not a law student but i want to become one. I hope that some of you guys and gals can enlighten me about this and share your opinions about the topic.
