I rejected promotion due to law school

I was not expecting na mabilis promotion ko pero nasa point na ako na sufficient na yung income ko to live comfortably (as a single) and to afford my tuition. 2 years nalang (I claim it) and matatapos ko na tong law school. Tinanggihan ko yung promotion kasi more responsibilities sya and baka yun pa reason na hindi ko matapos yung sinimulan ko. Meron ba dito na pinagsisihan nila na nireject nila yung promotion? Gusto ko lang majustify yung pag reject ko. (T_T)
