Is it harder to get into JAG if you are an already practicing attorney? Iām in law school now and debating if I should go right out of law school or if I can work in the private sector for a nonprofit for a few years then do JAG. I have a job lined up for post bar.
Edit: Follow up questions: Is asthma disqualifying? I ran Division 1 track. is it possible to get a waiver? Iām also still in law school but already accepted a post bar job which I regret not applying to JAG for. I interviewed with marines and got discouraged when they said there is no waiver for asthma in the interview. Not sure I would get medically disqualified for the other branches or be able to get a waiver?
