Hi all:
I'm looking for info in regards to what working or interning at the Maricopa County (AZ) Public Defender is like. How did you enjoy the environment, the workload (I know that there's about 35 cases per attorney, exclusively felonies), and for people who were new to Phoenix, how did you like the transition?
Also, where would Maricopa County rank in terms of PD prestige? Indigent defense is the eschewal of prestige, but certain PD offices have more cachet than others, like say the Bronx Defenders or the New Hampshire Public Defender.
Happy to discuss via PM as well. Thanks in advance.
