Also posted on TLS. Non-Wyomingite with no Wyoming connections here. I have an interest in clerking in Wyoming at either the state or Federal level. Have a few questions:
1) Does the WY Supreme Court hire term clerks? This blog post seems to say the answer is no: http://digitaleditions.walsworthprintgroup.com/publication/?i=120639&article_id=1134954&view=articleBrowser&ver=html5#{"issue_id":120639,"view":"articleBrowser","article_id":"1134954"}
2) If the court (or justices, better put) hires term clerks, what are the opening and closing application dates?
3) Are term clerks hired for the state trial courts, which I believe is the District Court?
4) Is clerk hiring centralized for the trial courts, or is it decentralized by county?
5) How competitive is clerk hiring in Wyoming at the state and Federal level?
6) How essential are WY connections?
Thanks in advance!
