Question for those who went out of state for work - how did you do it?
Post Body

I’ve had a rough few years after losing close family members, leaving an abusive relationship, etc. I’m at a point in my life where I’m having a bit of a crisis and feel like I NEED a fresh start. I want to go somewhere where I know no one and no one knows me.

I graduate law school in December, has anyone done this? I don’t want to apply to a state bar right away because I don’t know where I’ll end up. Also interested in JD adv jobs where I wouldn’t need the bar anyway.. but a lack of experience and connections in a brand new place is super scary to think about… my grades aren’t awesome, my average is like 79%. Anyone else who has done this and do you have any tips (please don’t tell me to stay where I am)? Should I start reaching out to employers now? I’m just totally lost on how to accomplish this.

TIA :)
