I want to file a small claims suit against my ex. What are some possible retaliatory suits that she can file against me? Can I just plead guilty to those and pay the fine/do the time, so that I can continue to pursue my small claims suit?

Some redditors in the other subreddit I am part of suggested that I also post here.

My ex of 3 years owes me about ₱331,000.00 in credit card expenses (we are wlw if that matters). Our relationship started souring after our first year. In our third year, I agreed to give her a supplementary card in an attempt to get her to love me again and on the condition that she pays me back for the expenses. We both have good salaries and while we never talked exact figures, I suspect hers would have been slightly higher than mine by ₱1k to ₱5k. The only difference between us is that my income is solely mine, and her income is divided among her unemployed family of 4.

I formally demanded via email that she pay back the outstanding amount on her supplementary card and I also requested that she send me copies of her proofs of payment so we can offset those payments against the outstanding amount. She did not respond with cooperation. Instead she went to my friends and mother and brought up the very angry messages I sent her in relation to the amount that I believe she stole from me. I believe I was justified in getting angry because she took both my love and my money, although I admit I could have handled my temper better.

I suspect she may file a countersuit for grave or light threats against me in retaliation to the small claim that I will file. What are some other possible retaliatory suits?

If she does countersue, can I just close those cases immediately by pleading guilty to those suits and pay the fine or do the detention time? Or some kind of summary judgment or compromise judgment? Can we join our suits? I am interested in closing her countersuits immediately so that I can just focus on my small claims case against her. (I might also be a little bit of a masochist because maybe I want to leave normal society for a while and think of my life choices in jail.)

Is all of this worth it just for slightly more than a quarter of a million?
