Post Body

To give you the context, I am currently occupying the position of Admin Officer III in government agency X and applying for Admin Officer IV in government agency Y. The appointment was approved and released by December 11, 2023 but I was informed about the appointment by January 2, 2024. Now, they require me to assume the position of Admin Officer IV on or before January 11, 2024. I already submitted my resignation letter in January 2, 2024 stating for a transfer to another government agency and stated that I will relinquished my position effective January 11, 2024. It was approved by the head of the agency 2 days after. The HR of government agency Y called by January 10, 2024 that they will suspend the assumption due to technicalities. I was able to retract my resignation but the stress and anxiety it caused is too much on my part. What is the best thing I can do?
