Need Advice Dealing With Toxic Boss
Post Body

I have been at my firm for a week now. It's my first job out of law school and I don't know how else to say this but my boss is extremely aggressive, talks down to me (and others) in the firm, is very short-tempered and just overall a really difficult person to work under and learn from. I was diagnosed with anxiety in middle school and since I've had it for so long I've generally been able to deal with it, but this past week I had two full blown anxiety attacks in the bathroom and have been losing sleep left and right at the thought of having to go into the office. I keep finding myself making silly mistakes because of how absolutely terrified I am of them and it has really hindered my learning even in the short week that I've been there. I have to really push myself to ask questions because of the amount of times I've seen them roll their eyes and get annoyed with other associates and snap at them. I find myself not being able to make complete sentences when they comes at me so aggressively and it's just debilitating. I completely black out and it just overall has been a really uncomfortable experience. I was able to find one review from an associate that previously worked there confirming everything i've been feeling. I was pretty nervous before starting because I noticed that multiple associates left right before I got there, and now it's making sense. I'm also working around 11-12 hours a day and my pay is below average for the city I work in. It's my first job out of law school so I'm really determined to push through and make this work, and I also just don't think I'd be able to get another job in the first place at this point. I apologize for the book, but this is something that has really taken a toll on me, and I'm sort of lost on how to deal with it.
