Hi everyone! Good evening! I conducted my placement for a criminal law firm in downtown and recently graduated from my paralegal program from Centennial College last June and took the P1 exams last July and anxiously waiting for the results.

While doing so, I have tried looking in all job sites and have difficulty in finding work as job descriptions require 2-3 years experience for an entry level position which has been a bit discouraging as a fresh grad.

I’m located in Scarborough and live near a Go station and 15 mins away from Kennedy subway station so commuting is not a problem.

Does anyone have advice or recommendations for law firms or organizations where I could start my legal career? I’m open to various areas of law (even areas that is outside the Paralegal scope of practice) and would love to hear about job search strategies, networking opportunities, or any hidden gems that could help me break into the industry.
