my psychiatrist switched me to abilify today after i told him how much latuda was even with a coupon and also how bad my side effects were. i was experiencing EXTREME fatigue- sleeping up to 17 hours a day inconsistently and then staying up all night. furthermore, the two weeks i was on latuda, i had a terrible lingering headache. i was switched to abilify as i said and i was wondering if anyone here has tried it. i’m starting on 5mg, but only half that pill for a week, then taking the full pill. i haven’t started it yet, i’ll pick it up later this week. i want to call my psych about side effects, but i like hearing firsthand input. so:

are these websites that say ability causes vomiting and extreme weight gain and fatigue just like any other antipsychotic where the side effects are exaggerated it might really not happen? i am an extreme emetophobic and i also can’t handle day to day life with fatigue caused by these antipsychotics- a boat i’m sure a lot of you have been in too.

basically, if anyone has also tried abilify, please tell me your experience on it compared to latuda. this is my second antipsychotic and the side effects are really worrying.
