So, maybe I'm just stupid...
But, wouldn't this whole Covid thing have been easier and cheaper to handle by paying everyone who wasn't sick to stay in their house and provide them food and utilities for 3 months, mandate people keep their jobs after the 3 months is over, and only let ABSOLUTELY INFRASTRUCTURE CRITICAL workers leave the house with extra pay?
Is it really THAT insane to say. "Hey, this whole Soul-Crushing-Bloodmoney-Rat-Race game we're all playing? Yeah, time out.... no, seriously, TIME OUT. Get some Gatorade and orange slices yo.... cant play ball if the field is literally ON FIRE."
