If a crime is rarely enforced, is it truly a crime... Or just unethical 🤔

I mean we generally agree that a fixed fine is just punishment on the poor to not do said crime, but rich people/corps just consider that the cost of business/life.

What if all fines were tied to revenue, and hit hard. Maybe that kinda shit would stop.

Revenue since those actions were made before profit. I don't give a shit if on paper your business lost money on paper after accounting. These kinda fine need to hurt your bottom line that you either die as a business, or keep things on the up'n'up
