What next? Order of Upgrades

Greetings, fellow commanders. I just recently obtained Williams and wondering what I should do next.
- Should I prioritize getting Williams up to 3-4 stars?
- should I get Kim to 5 stars first?
- Marshall to 4 stars with his buff to all hero damage?
Violet is my current front row "shield" hero next to Murphy, but I'm going to replace Violet with Williams once i get him strong enough.
