I think we all have to just accept that the last man on earth was peak television and we will never get anything better.

The humor was so spot on, and I just don't think alot of it would be allowed in today's main cable type shows. Also the character development was perfect, it's a common issue with shows where side characters don't get explored on enough or they are almost NPC like, but here we got to have very intimate looks at each side character. Also, it was super dark at times. Not only was it made to be one of the funniest shows ever, but the way they were able to add just some of the darkest stuff into it really made it better. It was the best show, and it sucks we will never get to finish it.
