So I stayed at this shithole because my client was staying here for a conference. What a fucking shithole. I had to wear my shoes given the decrepit state of the carpet. Iron? Cracked and broken. First elevator ride? Dude telling me he just got out of prison Hot water? None, but they waived the "resort" fee to accommodate. Self check-in? Card printers broken.

My immune system got an upgrade. The elevator has missing tiles on the floor, it's like a hotel out of some apocalypse movie. The off brand Starbucks is a 20 minute wait to order, then you wait 20 minutes for your shitty latte.

Hookers don't even bother hanging here.

Edit: I see some comments claimimg I'm cheap for staying at The Rio, I'm not sure it's relevent whether I'm cheap, poor or stupid. Tuesday and Wednesday night the rooms at The Rio were $250. If I was going tonight the cheapest non-renovated room on Rio's website is $355.69.
