I'm going to be in Vegas from Dec. 20 through Dec. 27.
What should I expect?
Are there any unique Vegas Christmas activities?
What's the best hotel to stay at(my hotel budget is $1300 or less for seven days)
Is going to see the Grand Canyon a good idea during this time of year?
Should I try learning how to ski during my vacation?
I’ve been in Vegas for Xmas as a tourist a few times
Pros: No large crowds, the weather (cold but nice), prices of the resorts goes a little bit down, the Xmas Trees and decors at the big casinos (Bellagio, Aria, Wynn) are stunning, and I’ve found lot of sales at the outlets
Cons: a lot of shows are dark in Xmas season and the hotel prices go to the ceiling after Dec 26
And yes, it’s a must to visit the Great Canyon in winter season and if you have the time (and the money), definitely you can learn to ski in Mt Charleston
For your budget, you need to think in Excalibur, Luxor, Flamingo or maybe PH. If you invest some more, you can reach MGM or Park MGM
Have fun!!!
