Advice on a speeding ticket?

First of all, I know I fucked up.
I was on the road to go see the seven magic mountains, and went 85mph in a 55mph road. There was a cop in the shoulder and clocked me going that speed. He told me since I went 30 over the speeding limit, I would have to attend the court in person. The problem is I live in San Diego, so cannot make that trip just for court. Can anyone offer advice besides me slowing down lol.
