Found this in the calapooia river in Oregon. Seems to be some kind of chalcedony/ agate, but could be wrong, seems pretty unique.l! I really want to cut it but am stumped where I should cut in a way that exposes the patterns and banding. Seems like there is a lot going on. Should I go straight down the middle vertically? Or should I go horizontally so that there is more surface area exposed? Theres those more circular bands along the top, but there are vertical bands along the side. What do you all recommend based on what you all can see? Sorry, Iām a noob, but I would like to make cabochons if it turns out really nice! Thanks!
