Big black helicopter

We get RCMP helicopters around our home that come from the Langley Airport. Recently there has been an addition of a big black helicopter ( pardon my ignorance,) that has been hovering low over our area 210/56th on more frequent basis. Does it belong to the RCMP, if not why such heavy hovering activity? Thanks for your help
