So I'm interested in maybe sourcing some landrace/ heirloom/ non cookie style seeds and I'm reading on various websites like the real seed company about charas. I know what charas is, but I'm curious if those plants are also grown just for smoking bud, or if the trichs are too easily disturbed. Can someone clarify? I tried some googling but mostly came up with guides on making charas and not on if the buds are smoked like other varieties. I like hash and concentrates and stuff, but I'm probably not going to make it.
Also, if you've had a good experience with a landrace seed supplier, maybe drop your favorite in the comment.
Thanks!

It doesn't smoke the best cause it wasn't bred for it. That's really the core issue -- The structure of the plant material itself had to undergo selection in order to render buds that smoke well. It'll work but just look at how hard finding herbs other than tobacco & weed that smoke as well as tobacco & weed. You need just the right thickness and structure.
