Just want to start out by saying that I really do enjoy most aspects of this manga and the anime. I ended up binging the anime after /r/animemes had a flood if mineral based memes earlier this week. I binged the anime last night. Then with no talk of a season 2 I did the same for the rest of the manga earlier today.
The animation is amazing. The characters are unique. It doesn't feel like it gets stagnant in places. Simple yet effective lore set up. All very good. The thing that is bothering my is actually parts if the story. It feels like there is something missing.
Don't get me wrong, I completely understand what I happening. It feels almost like an unnatural progression to me. Like the author had a vision on what they wanted to do, but it kept changing over the course of ended up where we are now. Maybe it's the seemingly insistent refusal to keep questions unanswered or simply don't communicate properly with each other. Maybe it's when Quartz became a hussy. Not sure.
Am I in the minority for thinking this way? Is there just something I guess I'm not seeing? Is it the lack of sleep from working midnight's ands getting canceled every other day clouding my thoughts? It's just left me in a weird head space is suppose. Thanks for listening to my rant in the least.
