The Super Bowl is right across the street form my house the landlord of the building I live in is extra paranoid about us using airb&b and subleasing. So to try and catch someone breaking the rules they are requiring residents to sign in and out every time they come and go. This morning I had come home so I signed in. 10 minutes later I walk my dog. The security guards say something dumb about it being potty time and I walk out. 5 mins later I come back in and they ask me to sign in again. I told them no and the lady security guard calls the property manager to report me. So I just signed in to shut her up. Is this legal? This has to be a violation of my privacy.
When we sign in they ask for the time and date, your name, drivers license number, your unit number and 4 of the digits on the entry access card. This information in on a clip board. There’s multiple names on this clipboard and you can read everyone’s info. They don’t cover your info at all. They are basically putting your name address and drivers license number out there for taking.
