Post Body

So my wife and I moved into this house about 6 months ago. When we received the keys, the property manager conveniently forgot he was going to be out of town and wouldn’t be able to do the walkthrough. He claimed there were no bugs and everything was in working order. The first thing I noticed when we went in, roach traps everywhere. The next thing I’ve noticed was the window in my toddler’s room, both had been replaced with a single sheet of cheap plexiglass and one of the sheets has a massive crack that’s been sealed with clear caulk. The hole to connect the dryer vent hose doesn’t fit any standard size and has been an easy way for rodents to enter our home. It’s been like pulling teeth to get the office to do anything about any of the problems. Do we have any real legal recourse for this or should I just prepare to find other accommodations when the lease is up?
