I have a 2 bathroom house I rent and my landlord is a pretty nice person, we get along and chat on a personal level. Last night one of my bathrooms overflowed and I have water seepage under the tile. I called a plumber and can't find the drain out, nor can I get a hold of my landlord as he is traveling out of the country for 2 weeks.
Do tenants tend to get this fixed on their own, or should I wait until I get a hold of him until I start any repairs? I have a disabled relative living with me and we have another bathroom, but it makes it a bit more difficult.
Thanks in advance.
