I’ve lived in the same place for about 9 years. I have been a great tenant(landlord upstairs). We’ve added so much to our place and have made it our own. But, we need new carpet and are looking to replace it. Would this be necessary for a landlord to replace after a certain period?
There are pieces of the ceiling coming down in areas as well he has been “waiting for one of his buddies who has a wall business to fix it”.
The oven door drops to the floor when open and the knobs are constantly melting and breaking since the WHOLE thing gets insanely hot when cooking. But it’s excuses there as well. If we bought one could we use it as part of our rent legally?
I think we’re really getting screwed lately since I’ve started doing the laundry for him and the other tenant (washing machine hook up is only in our unit;converted old house) and today he let me know he’s raising the rent since the water bill went up 🧐😖
