Throwaway, but will follow-up.
Ugh. I know, I know. I should follow my main account advice and fire the management company๐.
So the issue...
Last month tenant paid via e-check on the first, got returned NSF shortly after, and repaid on the sixth with only the NSF fee applied. Life happens. Management only applied the late fee. Being courteous, I just take the small fee and whatever right.
So this month the same garbage happened. I don't mind a one off time. Management took the same payment method. Bounced again. I texted the management company and they were kind of defending the tenant. I want to be understanding, but there is a limit.
I am disappointed in my management company in their selection of my tenant(s) and their lack of following protocol of selection. I should have figured it out there would be issues when they drove across three of the neighbors yard leaving when they moved in.
Fortunately this is the least of the trouble so far for the about year.
So after the rant LLs, if you get a NSF and then paid after the 5th (technically late), what fees do you charge?
