Can anyone provide guidance on how to address an ongoing issue with my neighbor's dog urinating on their balcony, which significantly impacts my living conditions in my "Luxury" 1-bedroom apartment in uptown Charlotte, NC?
Despite my reluctance to escalate theis matter, the persistent odor of ammonia permeating from the balcony makes it unbearable to open my windows or enjoy my outdoor balcony, adversely affecting my quality of life and exacerbating my wife's asthma.
I understand she works as a nurse at the local hospital, and I empathize with the challenges of her job. However, I must emphasize that I have extensive experience with dogs throughout my life. If one is unable to dedicate the necessary time and energy to adequately care for a pet, then you shouldn't own one. I've never seen her take him for a walk either.
Despite previous attempts to address the situation, such as notifying the apartment management, the problem persists.
What steps can I take to effectively resolve this matter, considering the significant inconvenience and health implications it poses?
