Before I send the property manager a strongly worded email, I want to make sure I’m not wrong but I don’t believe they can evict us during our lease. The reason we’ve been given is that the owner is going to sell because he needs the money and we need to be our March 9th. The current lease term runs through August 15th. Our lease is on the boiler plate CAR residential lease agreement with no additional terms regarding early termination. We aren’t necessarily opposed to leaving if they compensate us monetarily for the inconvenience. We’ve never not paid on time or had any other issues or complaints with the landlord or property manager.
