[Landlord - NC, US] When you sold your tenant-occupied rental, how did you handle showings?

Post Body

I am selling my tenant-occupied rental and I'm trying to figure out how to get as much traffic as possible while giving the tenant space and respecting her boundaries. I'm going to reach out to her tomorrow morning, but based on our previous communications, I get the sense that she would prefer no showings on the days she's off from work.

Currently, she can't commit to blocking off showings on the same days every week because her schedule changes weekly. I may reach out to her periodically to find out which days she wants to block off from showings.

Please, if you've sold a tenant-occupied home before (boy, this is going to be difficult), how did you and the tenant negotiate/handle showings?
