I've been living in a great 2b/1b apartment for over two years. My previous roommate needed to move out and I found a new roommate. The new roommate and I both signed the 6 months lease.

It's 30 days until the end of the 6mo. My new roommate sucks. My landlord is willing to help me. How can I coordinate to get rid of the roommate, protect myself, and work with my landlord?

PS we were given notice that our rent is increasing...idk if that helps me.

(Yes, I suggested she find better suited housing d/t lifestyle differences. She didn't like the suggestion)
