I have always loved the three-door Prado, but of course they are not available in the United States so all I can do is look at pictures online. But.... I'm wondering a few things about them. Were they available in two-wheel drive, or was it only all wheel drive models? I know they are available in Japan and Australia, but what other countries are they in? If it is somewhere in South America, I feel like that might be easier to get to the US. In a perfect world, I would import a manual diesel model but those seem to be extremely rare even in countries that have them.

The 03-09 model is the one I would be interested in, so I believe in 3 years I would be able to import one into the US legally, correct? Which country would be easiest to import from And does anyone have a clue what it might cost?
