any clue how to run a campaign using *both* systems?

I initially thought "oh ill use lancer combat and the social systems from thirsty sword lesbians" but tsl has a little combat albeit very light and doing a whole lancer fight whenever they wanna fight may make the game more sloggy. also if it helps, TSL has a setting for mechs.
