Hello everybody,
I just discovered the artist Olafur Eliasson and his work. For his "Weather Project" he used monochromatic light to achieve an absence of color. I'd like to use that as well.
So far I don't really know much about lamps but I found out that these are low pressure sodium lamps. I found this one on Amazon. Now that is a little expensive for me as an art student.
When I search for such lamps on Amazon also a lot of lamps to grow plants with pop up. But I'm not sure if these work in the same way and also emit only a single wavelength of light.
Does anyboy have experience with grow lights or (other?) low pressure sodium lamps? Do they emit the same light?
Maybe someone can refer me to other lamps that would work for my project?
Thanks a lot!
