No crayfish!!!

Why is there no more cray fish in lake winni? I found a couple 5 years ago but that’s because I snorkled every day for a full week to find one. Since then I have come up twice a year with not a single one in sight. A couple local old timers told me that you use to be able to go out to your dock at night and shine a flashlight and see dozens of them walking around. But they think the cusk population wiped them out because that’s their favorite food. What do you think?
