I was a freshman in high school when Laguna Beach first aired so I was very blind to how much they drank. Now that I’m in my 30s it’s wild to rewatch and spot the VERY OBVIOUS times they are drunk.

Some times of note include ; - Lo’s prom date Mike in season 1 passing out in the limo and then darting out to throw up - in season 2 Jessica holding a can of Pepsi and a water bottle full of brown liquid in the back of Kristins car - I’m season 2 at LCs bbq Jason holding a can of bud light - the girls making margaritas in their kitchen for the fiesta party in season 2

….. I’m sure there are more that I’m forgetting

That being said was this just a open secret ? Has anyone from the cast ever mentioned the drinking on the show?
