To all my fellow ladies of science,

I am pleased to report my first piece of research will be published in January 2020.

It is a small piece, only 3000 words of love and labour, to be printed in a specialty journal.

I am a socially-anxious, high-functioning clinical practitioner in an environment where I feel I cannot celebrate this (personally momentous) achievement. I post this not to gloat, but to elevate our scientific contributions and cognitive abilities in a world where we seem only to have parties for monogomy and successful copulation.

This means I am one step closer to being considered for prestigious specialty training.
