I'm an undergrad, and I want to be a math professor. Would it look bad if I did modeling now?
Post Body

I'm 19 and a sophomore-ish in college. Majoring in math, going to grad school for math, want to stay in academia for math research and teaching. I might end up going into industry (software? finance?) but almost certainly not without getting my PhD first.

I worked as a stripper on and off for the past year, and the money is good, but the work gets old, and the sleep schedule kills my grades. So I don't do that anymore except a bit on breaks from school. I was comfortable with stripping because unless someone came into my club while I was working, there was no way for anyone to find out. It certainly won't come up on a background check or google search.

I've been thinking of doing modeling part time to help with money. And for fun, because I'm a narcissist. I'm definitely not going to do porn, but what do you think might come back and bite me, with my career plans? I imagine doing fully clothed art or commercial modeling would be fine, but I could be wrong. What about bikini shoots? Lingerie? Artistic nudes? Artistic, erotic nudes? I definitely don't want to do anything that would be published as porn, but I'd be fine with being in a bikini/lingerie catalog, or doing nude shoots for high class art. But avoiding jeopardizing my career is the most important thing.
