First of all, sorry for the delay, I've been really busy. Interest in this challenge seems to have fizzled out, judging by the small amount of contest entries. People stopped sending me snippets as well. This is why I'm making this challenge monthly for the time being.

The last challenge only had two entries, which I have to call a tie between /u/buoyantbird and /u/doctordevice, since the results were pretty much identical to what the challenge asked for.

The next challenge (courtesy of /u/filumena) is a very simple one, aimed at beginners. (I left the original captions in.)

Don't forget to include a preview image with \documentclass[preview]{standalone} (you can do something like convert -density 300 -quality 100 my_submission.pdf -background white -alpha background -alpha off my_submission.png with ImageMagick) with your submission.
