Hello everyone!
First of all, I am aware there is a subreddit for LyX but it seems to be pretty dead, so I figured I would get more input from here.
I am helping a coworker who is working on his PhD dissertation. He is importing .eps figures (made from TecPlot) into his paper. Sometimes these figures lose their axis titles for no reason, and sometimes get randomly cropped as well. This happens after compiling the document into PDF format. I have spent the whole morning researching on why this is happening and I can't seem to figure it out.
I have tried using the various converters (Tools->Preferences) in LyX to no avail. Using the ps2pdf converter as recommended by many online did restore the axis titles, but the picture quality when compiled was very poor. All of his software seems up to date (GhostScript specifically, I read this problem was linked to an earlier version). As a result, I'm very lost.
Has anyone else had this problem before?
