Alien TV series Earth look

How's Earth supposed to look like? I strongly believe that things in general should have the same aesthetics as Alien/Aliens like how Alien Isolation did, retro futuristic tech and all. I never liked how Prometheus looked.
I'm not sure about the timeline, but FX Chief John Landgraf, stated the show is "Set not too far into our future, it's the first 'Alien' story set on Earth." But I don't know if that's supposed to be another sequel of sorts.
