I told my doctor that I utilize LSD occasionally to deal with my depression. He told me I should stop and switch to antidepressants because LSD kills brain cells. I don't want to be constantly reliant on a pill to get by, I'd rather just try to deal with it on my own, with the occasional help of a tab. Besides, from what I've found there's basically no modern research that suggests that LSD kills brain cells. So what should I do? Should I try to tell him that I'll continue to consume responsibly or should I pretend that I've stopped altogether? One one hand, if I can't be honest withβ him there's no point in talking to him at all. But if he for any reason considers my use "irresponsible", it remains within his right to break secrecy at will.
