People talk about acid and how it's not like peoples expectations of seeing crazy shit, well today I had the most visually insane acid trip off 1 tab and a bit of weed.

It had been 6 months since my previous trip so though yesterday was the time. Not sure what the dose was but did a tab with my friend and came up pretty quickly. The trees started tilting and the clouds just looked amazing flowing into eachother. Some of the clouds looked like creatures: dragons and faces with horns. They were made out of the clouds but just really cool to look at.

A few hours later I started seeing swirly rainbow patterns in the sky, very faint but the colours were definitely there. Looked like some classic 60s tie-dye. The grass was separated into rounded flowey textures and wood kind of had that breathing effect.

I even got "smell hallucinations" and briefly smelled cooking bacon. There was no one cooking bacon anywhere near. I took this as a sign I was hungry and tried a strawberry which surprisingly didn't really taste like anything at all.

At the peak I lay in the grass and it felt as though I was being hugged by the ground? Sounds from around the woods were echoey and looking up at the sky was amazing. I quite literally saw turtles and other animals floating in the clouds.

I started to come down a little but the visuals were still there. The clouds weren't moving how you'd expect but just flowing in random directions. If I focused hard enough I could "stop" the clouds moving and make them change direction. There were also just kaleidoscope patterns everywhere in the grass and trees like snowflake patterns if that makes sense.

We decided to smoke some weed. I lay back in the grass and felt like I was glued to the ground. The sun was unpleasantly hot at times on my faces. Put on some music and got some crazy closed eye visuals. I saw the sun with a face like you get in greek art, shining through these weird statues things, all kinds of multicoloured 3d shapes, spheres and fractals like in those youtube videos where they just zoom in.

I saw some spikey metal things which which made me a little uncomfortable so I opened my eyes again and looked around. The patterns in the trees had definitely intensified and I even saw faces of different creatures in them momentarily before disappearing. We both stood up to go to the toilet but had no idea which direction we'd come in. The piss felt like it lasted 2 minutes I swear.

As we came down from the acid and thr weed wore off we went home. Everything was just super bright and loud on the way home and I felt mentally exhausted but was able to sleep pretty quickly.

I feel like everyone's visuals are different per given dose. I'd say I'm quite creative and have always preferred art and subjects alike at school so my brains maybe more dominant in that area. People with a more logical/mathematically dominant brain would maybe have a trip with less visuals but more headapace and logical trippiness? I don't know just a guess.
