Newbie Question

Hello to start this off I've tried to trip two separate times but cannot. The first time I ever tried to trip I took magic mushrooms, they made me feel really good but I didn't experience any visual effects or altered state of mind. I brushed it off as not having enough shrooms, but yesterday I bought three tabs of lsd and took two. But again I saw no visuals and had no altered state of mind but my body felt amazing. Is this normal and will k ever be able to trip. I have one tab left and I'm not sure what to do with it any help will be appreciated.

Same for me, no visuals on shrooms but lsd took me there. In to space and back. Maybe you just had at bad batch of stamps.
