About 6 years ago a box fell on my head. I was working for a retail company and it went through my state's worker's comp insurance. Long story short: the government doesn't care about your injury.
From that box filled with backpacks, I have full body nerve damage, chronic migraines, light sensitivity, full-body chronic pain, instability, I use a cane and a walker with wheels. I'm 31, a young person to say the least, so I had a very active lifestyle before had my fair share of trips.
I haven't tripped more than one tab since my injury, until this weekend. Not only was I able to walk around, but i was also able to dance and spin and walk up and down the stairs. At the peek I was full-on twerking. Normally any movement is met with pain or discomfort, I need my cane to get up and sit down. I didn't need it, as the trip started to come down I noticed my balance started going first, then my legs, then hands, and as I drifted off to sleep the magic was over.
I got 12 hours of what my life used to be like. A small taste, my worst flares were in my rearview for a brief moment in time and it was glorious. I want to know if there are any people out there who have also experienced this. I normally manage my pain with THC, I quit opioids in 2017, they didn't help me. I also lost about 65 pounds since last Oct, my injury gives me a high SED count [Normal 0-32] [Mine: 75] so I metabolize quickly. I hope I can get more folks who have experienced this. peace xo
