Hi guys! I'm a fairly new Reddit user, as well as someone who has never tried LSD, so forgive me if my question sounds childish or dumb.
I've always wondered about the power of the Placebo Effect after doing an experiment in my psychology class where I gave slightly sweetened cubes of gelatin to classmates and told them they tasted like cherry. Surprisingly, most of my classmates reported tasting cherry, despite no added flavor to the gelatin. When my fiance tells about his experiences with LSD, it makes me wonder if the same would apply to LSD.
We've discussed it before, and testing it would be cruel, so I wanted input from other people with experience with LSD. If you gave someone who has tried LSD a blank tab and told them the LSD was really strong, do you think they would experience a trip? Do you think it would happen with someone who has never tried LSD?
