Does lsd have any similarities to weed?

I’ve been really into psychedelics and the idea of them for a couple of years and have had a cousin who partook in some usage a while back. I’ve done some research and noted some safety precautions to take whenever using lsd, and wanted to know if the experience was at all similar to using weed and wanted to ask people with real experience with the drug.
